The Pasadena City College Noncredit Division offers a variety of free courses and certificate programs to help you achieve your academic, career, professional and/or personal goals. Whether you wish to develop skills for the workforce, learn and improve your English, complete your high school education, transition to credit courses, or explore a different career, the Noncredit Division is the right place to embark on your journey.

Certificate Programs

Students who successfully complete the courses within our certificate programs will receive either a Certificate of Completion or a Certificate of Competency.

Career Education (CTE) Programs 

Prepare for the workforce in specific occupations.

Workplace Readiness Program

Techniques for entering the workforce, conducting effective job searches, and improving employability skills.

English as a Second Language Programs

Learn to read, write and speak in English. Courses to prepare for citizenship.

Adult High School Diploma

Finish the courses you need to earn a high school diploma.

General Education Development (GED) Preparation

Courses to prepare for the GED exam and earn a high school equivalency certificate.

Adult Basic Education

Basic Workforce Readiness for Developmentally Disabled Adults Program
